The Office Connexion to Host Houston Small Business Week Networking Luncheon, May 25

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- The Office Connexion, located in near-northwest Houston, will host the Houston Small Business Week Networking Luncheon on Friday, May 25, as part of its soft launch activities. This event, held during National Small Business Week 2012, will give local small business owners the opportunity to network, find out about an emerging trend that's changing the way entrepreneurs work, get information about business financing, and learn how to leverage email marketing and social media for success. National Small Business Week is May 20 - 26.

The luncheon will feature a two-hour workshop on email marketing and social media best practices presented by Carlos Fortin of Constant Contact. Other guest speakers include Shirley Brooks, Accion Texas Vice President of Operations East Texas and Karen Cavallaro, Senior Consultant with Lone Star College System Small Business Development Center.

The Office Connexion is a community coworking and small business development center, that provides a membership-based office community with access to corporate amenities such as internet, business equipment, coffee bar, meeting space, and business development seminars. During the soft launch week, The Office Connexion is also offering free coworking days and other workshops.

The Houston Small Business Week Networking Luncheon will be held May 25, 11:00am to 2:00pm at 11920 Walters Rd. Tickets are $25 per person.
