Rey T Featured Artist On New Special Request Project

May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- It's been a little more than a month and the cd entitled " I'm The Only One " by Special Request Featuring Rey T has gotten more than 100k listens with no signs of slowing on www.RDIO.com alone.

Special Request Featuring Rey T has just released their Seventh (7th) cd, this one on the " Tate Music Group " record label, this time distributed by E1/Universal Music Group, with their previous cd's entitled " The Red Album " was distributed by Sony BMG and the newly formed " Ingrooves-Fontana about to release their newest single " I Erotic " on the MRE Entertainment/Prime USA Records label.

Success is no surprise to this star studded trio which features Reynard Thomas (Rey T), Mark Hunter ( Hunter ) and Gary Hunter (G. Hunter aka G) who not only released tracks as Special Request, but also projects under their stage names as previuosly mentioned.

All three artists has released projects on Prime USA Records with distribution through Blue Pie Records and Distribution, whose CEO is none other than Damien Reilly while working with Prime USA Records has released more than Fifty (50) projects by various Artists.

Rey T has been the lead singer for all of the Projects released by Special Request and has appeared with other up and coming artists such as Hip-hop sensation " Korrosive" which also produce much of Special Request's last Two (2) Projects, Ice Dogg formerly of "THA M.O.B.B. " Xymphoni providing backup vocals and a duet that can be found on both their new projects and stepping into a different arena, Rey T sang the blues with " Ron Joseph and The Steppen Stones with the track " I'm so tired " that's found on both " The Red Album and Ron Joseph Presents Nothing But The Blues".

Having the pleasure to speak with Rey T this reporter has learned that Rey T was good friends with the King of Pop (Michael Jackson) and cousin to Johnnie Cochrane, but chose not to use their fame to boost his own career, but chose to make it or not on his own talent, which is to be admired when either name could have taken him straight to the top.

Rey T, calls himself a simple man, but anyone that knows him, knows he's anything but because once he hits the stage he becomes another person commanding the stage and mesmerising his audiences with his great vocal ability ranging from his natural tenor, to a beautiful falsetto and with the graceful moves of a seasoned dancer.

Also having the chance to sit with him and listen to his music I couldn't help but wonder why " Rey T " wasn't a Grammy Award winning artist and how he could be over looked for so long!

Well, those days are soon to be behind this " Great " artist as you can't keep a good man down and with everyone screaming for someone to step up to the plate that can carry a note and sing any song with conviction, the world will soon know this talent that is " Rey T".
