Richard Hatch, Celebrity Apprentice participant and first season winner of the television series show Survivor, is sending a message to taxpayers in his national television and radio advertising campaign for irstaxsurvivor.com, “you don’t want to end up in federal prison because of your IRS tax problems”, states Hatch.

Hatch spent 51 months in federal prison because of his well known and documented tax problems with the IRS.  “Taxpayers can make honest mistakes by relying on what the IRS tells them”, adds Richard Hatch. “Tax laws are impossible to understand so if you have unfiled tax returns or owe the IRS over $10,000 you need a tax professional”, states Hatch.  “Remember, the IRS can garnish your paycheck, levy your bank account, seize your disability and take your home.  If that’s not enough, they can throw you in jail”, claims Hatch.
