North Suburban Medical Center Opens Northeast ER

PRLog (Press Release) - May 7, 2012 - THORNTON  – North Suburban Medical Center’s Northeast ER opens its doors today at the corner of Holly Street and 128th Avenue to receive emergency patients from the surrounding communities. The 10,000-foot, state-of- the-art emergency department will function just like a hospital-based ER, treating everything from minor injuries to more severe and life-threatening illnesses such as stroke or heart attack. Northeast ER is a true emergency facility, open 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

“With the opening of Northeast ER, North Suburban Medical Center is enhancing the quality and convenience of emergency healthcare services for residents of North Thornton,” noted Jennifer Alderfer, North Suburban Medical Center CEO.

Northeast ER is fully-staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and emergency-trained nurses and specialists and, in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, features a pediatric ER for pediatric emergencies. The facility boasts the latest emergency diagnostic and surgical equipment available with in-house imaging and ultrasound departments; a full, on-site lab and a specialized trauma department. With skillful personnel for excellent care and efficient response times, the facility is backed by the expertise and services of North Suburban Medical Center and the HealthONE Network, metro Denver’s largest healthcare system.
