LifeCenter Plus to Host Event on How to Help Caregivers Cope and Reduce Stress

May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- HUDSON, OHIO – LifeCenter Plus Health and Fitness Club will welcome registered nurses from Visiting Angels Living Assistance Services and First Choice Home Health to discuss how to deal with the stress of caring for a loved one.

“Taking on the care and attention of a friend or family member can be stressful and exhausting,” said Jerry Lynch, co-owner of LifeCenter Plus. “In order to care for someone else, caregivers must first take care of themselves. As a club devoted to health and fitness, we wanted to offer caregivers help in staying healthy.”

Registered nurses will be at LifeCenter Plus offering strategies and advice to handle anxiety and gain control of the undertaking. Stress reduction techniques including coping skills, deep breathing and progressive relaxation will also be addressed by the nurses.

Options available for home health care will be discussed and opened to questions.

The event takes place on Tuesday, May 15 at 6:00 pm, in Conference Room A at LifeCenter Plus, located at 5133 Darrow Road, Hudson, Ohio. Members with one guest are free. The fee for non-members is $5. To sign up, contact the front desk at 330-655-2377.
