Sybase Match Play Championship tournament officials have announced that through the support of title sponsor Sybase, fans can receive complimentary tickets to the event through participating in the tournament’s SMS ticket promotion.
 
May 7, 2012 - PRLog -- GLADSTONE, NJ (May 7, 2012) -- Sybase Match Play Championship tournament officials have announced that through the support of title sponsor Sybase, fans can receive complimentary tickets to the event through participating in the tournament’s SMS ticket promotion. Enabled by Sybase's world-leading mobile messaging services, this promotion aims to increase fans’ access to tickets in advance of the tournament. Somerset Medical Center, the official beneficiary of this event, is promoting complimentary ticket efforts as well by offering their own unique ticket code. The Sybase Match Play Championship, the LPGA Tour’s only match play competition, will return to Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ, May 14 - 20.

“We are thrilled to once again combine leading mobile technology with the excitement of match play golf,”  Dr. Raj Nathan, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, Sybase, Inc., said. “To continue the text messaging program for another year provides more fans with the opportunity to engage and interact with the tournament.”

Beginning now through May 13, fans can text the word somersetmed to 792273 (“SYBASE”) to obtain two (2) free daily tickets to the Sybase Match Play Championship. Fans will then receive a response message with a promotional code valid for two (2) free daily tickets to be redeemed online at www.sybasematchplaychampionship.com. Limited quantities of free tickets are available.

Besides free tickets, fans will also have the opportunity to receive tournament news through their mobile phones. By texting the word ALERT to 792273 (“SYBASE”), fans will receive SMS alerts for important tournament-related information including event results, weather delays and special activities May 15 – 20. Fans can also sign up online to receive SMS alerts at http://sybasematchplaychampionship.com/mobile-alerts/.

Fans can also now purchase individual week-long grounds passes at a cost of $50 ($60 at the gate) which grant access to the tournament grounds May 14 – 20. Daily tickets, valid any one day Thursday-Sunday, are also available for $20 in advance and $25 at the tournament entrance. Admission is free for everyone Monday-Wednesday, courtesy of Sybase. Kids 17 and under are admitted free all week with a ticketed adult. Tickets can be purchased online at www.sybasematchplaychampionship.com.
