Aromatherapy for Cancer patients

The use of coconut milk oil and Frankincense, Sandalwood and Myrrh essential oil to prevent sun UV skin burn or aid skin tissue repair has long been used in Asia and the Middle East. There is now a growing body of clinical evidence to suggest that using Rosehip or St John’s oil carriers and essential oils of Cajuput and Niaouli (from the Tea Tree family of oils) are very effective in inhibiting radiotherapy burns associated with Cancer treatments.

Especially effective in inhibiting chemotherapy burns is nutmeg essential oils as well as the natural ‘limonene rich’  family – found extensively in orange, mandarin, lime and lemon essential oils.
