Plus Fashion Week™ LLC announces Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization™
CHICAGO—Plus Fashion Week™ is pleased to announce Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization™
Y-ME provides a crucial service to all people touched by breast cancer, allowing individuals to call-in and speak to other breast cancer survivors on their 24-hour hotline-- 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Through one-on-one peer counseling services, Y-ME functions as an emotional recourse empowering survivors at every step in their individual stories—from moment of diagnosis, to treatment, to triumph. Regardless of financial income or household language spoken, survivors of every kind can access Y-ME’s recourses in over 150 languages. Additionally, through Y-ME’s match program, survivors are able to get more individualized support when needed. Whether you are a single mother with children, have metastatic cancer, are a male dealing with breast cancer, or have a partner who was just recently diagnosed, you will be able to call in and speak to someone who has been in your exact position. Y-ME knows that there is no substitute or medical alternate for speaking with another human being.
