The students receive training based on REDKEN 5th Ave principles of design & color. The classes at this New Jersey beauty school are small, enabling students to receive individualized attention and reach their full potential. The full-time program runs for 9 ½ months and teaches students Redken-infused styling, cutting and color techniques, skin and nail care including anatomy and physiology, business strategies, and communication skills.
The salon at the academy is fully-functioning and provides a professional atmosphere with reasonably priced guest services. Everything from hair care to facials and nail care are available. Through this innovative program, students have the opportunity to practice their skills under the guidance from professional educators and guests can enjoy their favorite services like Redken hair color or Keratin straightening for a discounted price. All services are performed by supervised students.
