MSI was showcased in Centennial’s electrophysiology (EP) lab. Nearly 300 people toured the facility and witnessed MSI’s ability to combine patient data and high definition display to provide physicians and techs with access to real time information across multiple platforms, improving the quality of care and patient outcomes.
Today’s typical EP lab technical configuration limits the physician’s ability to view all available data contextually, causing a higher risk of missed events. This, in turn, may put the patient at risk during complex stages of the procedure and slow down procedure times. MSI eliminates this problem by integrating patient modalities, patient records, archived information, PACS images, and any other digital and video source onto a single screen, 56-inch Quad HD monitor.
MSI enables physicians to leverage their time efficiently, providing more effective patient care. Additionally, this technology allows Centennial physicians to treat patients remotely and collaborate with their counterparts elsewhere. This is in line with SystemsOne’s focus on improving outcomes and patient care by improving processes through innovative technologies.
