Snell & Wilmer Attorney William Pedranti Presents at National Life Sciences Industry Conference

The FCPA & Anti-Corruption for the Life Sciences Industry Conference is the preeminent FCPA compliance event for pharmaceutical, medical device, CROs and biotechnology companies. The agenda provides attendees with high-level, advanced strategies such as how to incorporate government expectations into compliance programs, minimize exposure to corruptive behavior during foreign research, and properly vet, screen and monitor third parties. Mr. Pedranti will be presenting on a panel about FCPA, corporate governance and personal liability. In this presentation, Mr. Pedranti will be discussing how to deal with audit committees, board of directors and corporate officers when FCPA issues arise.

William Pedranti’s practice is focused in business and finance with an emphasis in biopharmaceutical matters. He has extensive experience performing general company representation for both public and private companies. Mr. Pedranti has also provided counsel regarding compliance with SEC and NASDAQ corporate governance standards. He has represented acquirers and target companies in various types of mergers and acquisitions as well as other business transactions (both U.S. and international). Mr. Pedranti was General Counsel for a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company where he led the legal department and was a member of the company’s executive committee. He was also the Chief Compliance Officer for a biotech company where he oversaw the company’s compliance efforts across multiple disciplines. Mr. Pedranti was recognized in 2011 in the Daily Journal’s “25 Leading Biotech Lawyers in California.”
