Humana to Support Antibullying Assemblies at Summer Camps and High Schools in South Florida

PRLog (Press Release) - May 4, 2012 - Statistics says that in schools where there are bullying programs bullying is reduced by 50%. The Prevention Team, that brings professional athletes to schools teaching kids that bullying is not the way, is receiving a substantial financial support from Humana, one of the most well-known insurance companies in the United States. The official health benefit provider of the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour, Humana now is an official antibullying sponsor of The Prevention Team. This sponsorship support will allow The Prevention Team to organize more anti-bullying assemblies at the summer camps this summer, and at high schools once the school starts again.

The Prevention team is designed to build Confidence and Integrity in school students, and address one of our contry’s biggest issues in the school system today, Bullies. The Prevention Team brings professional athletes to school across the country teaching students that bullying is not the way. Our mission is to take a stand and educate our children to prevent bullying before it happens. The 1 hour educational program is approved by multiple schools across the nation and leaves kids with great motivation and a real “Bullies are not cool attitude”. During the educational seminars and programs The Prevention Team also provides teachers with tools they can use in their anti-bullying efforts.
