Norwood, MA Home Sales Rise, Prices Fall Q1 2012

The data were compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

Single-family home sales in Norwood, MA increased 58.8 percent in the first quarter of 2012, a difference of 10 sales compared to Q1 2011. The median price of single-family homes decreased 4.8 percent in Q1 2012 compared to Q1 of 2011, a difference of $15,000.  

Condominium sales rose 57.1 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of four sales compared to Q1 of the previous year. The median price of condominiums fell 2.6 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of $6,400 compared to the previous first quarter.

Multi-family home sales rose 100 percent in the first quarter of 2012, a difference of three sales compared to Q1 2011. Multi-family home prices dropped 17.6 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of $65,000 compared to Q1 2011.
