Burton Albion Community Trust set to deliver football session in Uttoxeter to help develop children

Burton Albion Community Trust are holding a 4v4 small sided games ‘turn up and play’ football session in Uttoexeter on Thursday May 17.
 
July 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Burton Albion Community Trust are holding a 4v4 small sided games ‘turn up and play’ football session in Uttoexeter on Thursday May 17.
The aim of the session is to help 5 to 13 year olds in Uttoxeter to develop their skills with the emphasis on getting as many touches on the football as possible. The session will be running at Thomas Alleynes High School on the astro turf.
Starting at 6pm, the session will run for an hour and will focus on getting youngsters to take part in various game situations.
Available for both girls and boys, the workshop is open to all abilities and the children will be split into appropriate age groups on the day.
Run by Burton Albion Community Trust, a registered Burton Charity, the session will be delivered by qualified coaches and will cost a reduced price of £1 per child.
Scott Taylor is one of the coaches from the Trust who will be leading the soccer session said: “The sessions are great for kids wanting to expand their skills in football or for kids just starting out. Everyone is invited to join in and have a go, no matter what their experience or ability level.”
