Directed by actor/director Paul Cross, OPERATION TERROR probes the most infamous day in American history, September 11, 2001, and details the planning stages of that day from a completely different viewpoint. The film has a cast of over one hundred actors with many difficult and diverse locations filmed in and around Hollywood and its neighboring cities and had a shooting schedule of thirty days. "Independent filmmaking is never easy but when you have a story this big in scope it demands even more from everyone involved with bringing the scrip to the screen," Cross stated.
OPERATION TERROR was written by first time screenwriter Art Olivier. However this was not the first time out for Cross who wrote, starred and directed another 9/11 feature film, SEVERE VISIBILITY, which tells the story of a US Army major’s life that hangs in the balance when he discovers evidence that the government’s official version of the Pentagon disaster on September 11, 2001 is a deception.
Many questions are still unanswered regarding 9/11 but OPERATION TERROR provides some alternate compelling and controversial answers to many of them.
