Sierra Auction Opens Drive Thru at Their Tucson Location

PRLog (Press Release) - May 3, 2012 - Sierra Auction is excited to announce the opening of the drive through auction at their Tucson location.  The Phoenix based auction house has experienced rapid growth over the last few years, and as a result adopted new developments to accommodate their expansion.  A drive through was added to the Phoenix location in 2011, allowing them to accommodate a larger quantity of vehicles per month.  This coupled with the increased number of auctions has doubled the number of vehicles per month, resulting in larger auction attendance and higher selling prices.  

Sierra has adopted a strategy to mirror new developments at the Phoenix and Tucson locations.  In 2005, the Phoenix facility expanded to 12 acres include a much larger physical location on the same site Sierra opened 25 years ago.  In January 2012, Sierra’s location in Tucson extended their facility, allowing for the advancement of the drive thru.

Sierra anticipates doubling the size of the Tucson’s vehicle auction in 2012 as a result of these improvements.  Hosting two major auctions a month in Phoenix, and currently once a month in Tucson, they presently average 700 vehicles per month.  “We’ve had outstanding results from the improvement we’ve implemented the last few years, and are adapting to the growth and needs of our clients…..both buyers and consignors,” stated Mark Feuerer, President of Sierra Auction.
