Have her name called aloud. Light a candle and stand in her honor. Provide her with a delicious dinner and laugh out loud together. Long after the flowers are wilted, this one-of-a-kind tribute to mothers, wives, grandmothers, aunts and significant women in our lives will be remembered.
“A Tribute to Mothers” plays live at the NarroWay Theatre on May 11 and 12. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.narroway.net or by calling 803.802.2300. Seating is limited and “A Tribute to Mothers” has only three performance times: Friday, May 11 at 6:30pm and Saturday, May 12 at noon and 5pm.
“A Tribute to Mothers” combines hilarious comedy with favorite hit music sung by incredible soloists. “No two shows are the same - really!” says theatre manager Lora McCoy, “because the show includes unrehearsed live interviews with children, much like the classic television show ‘Kids Say the Darndest Things’. … And believe me, they do!”
“It is really special,” says McCoy. “It’s not just something you do FOR her; it’s something you do WITH her. We all know that’s what moms like best. My mother, aunt and grandmother traveled from Kentucky to see the show and they are still talking about how special it was and how much fun they had.”
The menu includes a succulent chicken cordon bleu with maple roasted sweet potatoes, baby lima beans, dinner roll and strawberry cobbler. Dinner is served when guests are seated and the show begins when guests have been served.
