Little Girl Receives Jungle Safari Room Escape

May 3, 2012 - PRLog -- For many years, 9-year-old Sara dreamed of having a room full of jungle animals.  However, her mother, Louise, and her dad, Grier, had not chosen that particular decor for her bedroom.  When they purchased a beach condo in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, they decided to allow Sara to choose the decor for her bedroom.

Of course, young Sara chose the theme of her dreams - jungle safari.  After trying to talk Sara out of it, her mother reluctantly agreed.  First, Louise found a quilt with a jungle safari theme, and then began her Internet search for matching wall decor.

After conducting a Google search, she tripped, as she says, and landed on Etsy.com, where she found My Wonderful Walls' Wild Jungle Safari Wall Sticker Kit.  Although My Wonderful Walls offers the same theme in their wall mural stencil kits, Louise chose the wall stickers for four simple reasons - ease, speed, adjustability and the added benefit of NO PAINTING.

Louise describes her artistic ability as 'zip,' but was able to create her daughter's dream jungle bedroom in approximately 30 minutes!  She attributes that to the sticker kit itself.  To make it even more simple, Louise left all the stickers in a different room, taking one at a time to Sara's room.  This allowed her to thoughtfully place each one, ensuring that it brought the entire mural together.

For many parents who create projects using products from My Wonderful Walls, they choose to keep the children from seeing the room until completion.  Aside from a few sneak peek pictures, Louise did the same.  Many of the products from My Wonderful Walls can be customized with your child's name, which Louise opted to do with the sign post - one sticker she kept Sara from seeing, which Sara was thrilled about when it came time for the big reveal.

Now, as visitors come to the condo, they comment on how Sara's room is the best.  Louise is proud of her project, and is even considering looking at other themes for some of the other rooms in the condo.  Although Louise, like many other parents, used the wall stickers in a bedroom, they are the perfect addition to other rooms/locations, such as playrooms, bathrooms, classroom, pediatrician's offices, hospitals, community centers, libraries, etc. - you name it, My Wonderful Walls has a theme for it!
