ForceSelect works with some of the UK’s leading companies to provide jobs and mentoring for some of the 22,000 military personnel who leave the Armed Forces each year. The MoD recently announced over 4,000 job cuts in a second round of Armed Forces redundancies as part of the Strategic Defence and Security Review.
Hugh Andrée said: “I was hugely impressed by my last visit to Aberdeen earlier this year and I am tremendously excited about the opportunity to assist local businesses.
“A number of companies have committed to recruiting ex-military personnel, notably engineers. The oil and gas industry is growing and ForceSelect is uniquely positioned to support the personnel requirements of this industry, providing Aberdeen businesses with highly skilled, reliable individuals who have the rigour to work in hostile environments.”
ForceSelect is the UK’s leading ex-military recruitment consultancy and Andrée confirmed that the organisation will do everything it can to help those service leavers who are looking for a new career on civvy street.
ForceSelect was set up by Hugh Andrée and Andy McNab in response to the lack of advice and support they received when leaving the Army.
