The 870-mile-long Wales Coast Path opens this weekend (5 May), making Wales the first country to have a continuous trail all the way around its coast. Nearby Bodnant Garden also boasts one of the world’s most impressive laburnum arches which is 55 metres long and flowers in late May.
Situated on the seafront with glorious views of Llandudno Bay, as well as of the Great and Little Orme headlands, the St George’s Hotel is an ideal base from which to explore the different activities on offer in North Wales. One night’s accommodation, including a three-course dinner and full Welsh breakfast in the award-winning restaurant, costs from £107.50 pp (two sharing). A family of four (with the same package) costs from £73.75 pp (based on a family of four sharing). Valid from 4 May – 31 October 2012. Call the St George’s Hotel on 01492 877 544 (http://www.stgeorgeswales.co.uk).
Ends – 3 May 2012
