Bangalore can now experience the excitement of EMR this weekend i.e. the 5th and 6th of May, 2012 at Nandi Toyota (46/ 3A Kudlu Gate, Hosur Road, 7th Mile) and Ravindu Toyota (#25, Chord Road, Rajajinagar Industrial Suburb, Opp. Iskon Temple). And, the following weekend, on the 12th and 13th at Viva Toyota (#552/ 512, Maruti Nagar, Kogilu Main Road, Yelahanka).
Through these dealership activities, motorsport enthusiasts in Bangalore will be given an opportunity not only to touch and feel the new sporty avatar of the Etios and Etios Liva but also engage in a host of other exciting motorsport activities.
Globally, Toyota’s rationale is to make motorsports more accessible, not only to participants but to its spectators as well. Through its wide network in India the company will take EMR closer to its customers across the country in the year 2012. In all, EMR will aim to reach out to a majority of Toyota customers and motorsport enthusiasts in 14 cities and 24 dealerships.
Etios Motor Racing (EMR), the one-make racing series, will be held in 2013 and the racing platform will help talented young racers develop their skills, and further train them to gain a competitive edge for their future in motorsports.
An extensive selection process for drivers is currently in progress, and the final 25 drivers will chosen to drive the Etios racing cars for the Exhibition Races this year and the EMR Series in 2013.
