Bacci Chocolate Design will launch Boston Cupcake Girl

May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- The Chocolate Truffle on Thompson Street closed at its normal business hour on Saturday April 28, 2012 and posted signs in the windows and on the door stating the store would be closed until a Grand Re-opening on May 3 for Boston Cupcake Girl, featuring The Chocolate Truffle.
The Winchester store was chosen as the launch for Boston Cupcake Girl because of its central location. The Center is walking distance to schools, churches and so many other local businesses that bring people to Winchester and the proximity to Boston. The store is located at 18 Thompson Street which is off of Main Street, just a few stores down from Starbucks. The location has the right mix of foot traffic and car traffic to start offering the sweet treats in addition to their hand dipped chocolates and truffles for those looking to indulge.
The cupcakes will be made by Bacci Chocolate Design at their facility in Swampscott and then delivered daily to the store. “This location is the best to test what the market demand is for cupcakes. There was little investment since we already had the store, we already have the manufacturing facility and we have a customer base,” said company co-owner Carlo Bacci.
The Winchester location is open Tuesday through Sunday and will stock a limited amount of cupcakes delivered from their manufacturing facility daily and they will take special occasion orders for all events.
Bacci Chocolate design has won awards for their chocolates and truffles and plans to take some of their most popular creations and offer them in cupcake form such as Salt Caramel, Limoncello, Sam Adams, Red Wine and Toffee to name a few. Names will be tweaked to reflect the Boston Theme; Green Monsta, Boston Laga, Phantom Pinot Noir, North End Cannoli, Southie Surprise and Nonno’s Limoncello to name a few. After all these are Boston Cupcake Girl; Sugar, Spice & Everything Wicked Nice.
