During the Beta Launch users will be able to sign up on the site as a user and participate in mock auctions. These mock auctions will allow users to win multiple prizes like $5 and $10 gift cards at no cost to the user. We will also be giving away some grand prizes like a new iPad 3rd generation and a $500 Amazon gift card. We are currently taking entries right now into our grandprize giveaway by signing up on our landing page at http://www.nebids.com. This will get participants 1 entry into the giveaway. Users can get another entry by "liking" the nebids Facebook page by clicking the like button on the landing page. Once the Beta Launch goes live users will be able to fully register for an additional 5 entries into the grandprize giveaway.
Once again the primary goal of the Beta Launch is to help test the general functionality of the site to ensure that everything is working as expected for the official launch. Because of the nature of a marketplace where anyone can buy and anyone can sell we also need to attract multiple shoppers and sellers to the site for the launch. We will of course be having a number of different giveaways and incentives for all the participants in the Beta Launch.
