Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy Presents: The 6th Annual Music Concert "Grounded Rhythms"

May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Brooklyn, New York - April 18, 2012 - Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy, Inc. takes great pleasure in announcing their 6th Annual Music Concert: "Grounded Rhythms." For the past 5 years, Ifetayo has hosted one of the most unforgettable and stirring children's musical concerts to be experienced anywhere. Featured musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists (between the ages of 4 and 17 years old) collaborate in an outstanding presentation of "musicality" and skill bringing the house to its feet in awe and appreciation of these young and emerging artists.

This year's "Grounded Rhythms" combines West African traditional rhythms and the tempos, tastes and flavors of Caribbean music in a panorama of sounds, patterns and textures that awakens the audience to the joy that only their young performers can elicit. It reminds you that music is central to how we ground ourselves in culture and celebrate our heritage.
