May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- As millions of families gather in front of the TV to watch the 138th running of the Kentucky Derby this Saturday, military families, thanks to Horses4Heroes, will soon be gathering in barn yards and stables throughout the country to receive their free horseback ride.  Launching May 19, Armed Forces Day, Operation Free Ride is spearheaded by Las Vegas-based non-profit Horses4Heroes to introduce the healing powers of horses and the recreational benefits of horseback riding to thousands of military heroes and their families.

Operation Free Ride is one of the largest collaboration of breed associations and equestrian organizations, all uniting in support of our troops, returning combat veterans and their families.
