In her nomination, Darcy wrote that “Lauri Goldstein is a Woman of Distinction both professionally and personally. She serves as a role model to women in our community by demonstrating what it means to be a success within one’s chosen industry and by giving back to the community.”
Lauri Goldstein has made a commitment to two programs with drug and alcohol prevention messages that define her as a leader in prevention. She supports Tykes and Teens Project Northland Gold Card and also sponsors the DARE Program (drug abuse resistance education) program in conjunction with The Martin County Sheriff’s Department. She provides tee shirts for six elementary schools and attends the DARE graduations to reinforce her support.
Goldstein is committed to reducing underage substance use and abuse through Tykes and Teens’ Project Northland, an alcohol and drug prevention program. She has sponsored Summer Slam Jam, a poster contest and is the key partner in underwriting the Gold Card.
