Cincy Chic Hosts Free Women’s Health Expo

May 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Healthcare costs have been on the rise for decades, but on May 12, Tri-State women can enhance their health for free.

Cincy Chic, the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is hosting its first Women’s Health Expo Saturday May 12, 10am-3pm, at The Phoenix downtown. At this event, which is free to attend, participants can enjoy free health screenings, informational seminars with local physicians, healthy recipe taste testing, an active wear fashion show, and more than 30 vendor booths featuring health-related products and services.

Theresa Taylor, Marketing Communications Manager for St. Elizabeth Healthcare - a supporting sponsor of the Women's Health Expo - says, “Once again we are happy to be partnering with Cincy Chic to inform women on the importance of taking time out to take care of themselves. The Women’s Health Expo is a great event that caters to the unique health needs of women and provides a way for us to educate them on the importance of their health and wellness.”

St. Elizabeth Physician speaker seminar topics include: Mood Changes, Supplements, Relationships, Depression, Label Reading. The expo will also feature a “Function in Fashion” show featuring the latest active wear styles from Lululemon Athletica.

The first 400 attendees to RSVP at cincychic.com/events will receive a reusable tote bag filled with “swag” from various vendors. In addition, several lucky attendees will be selected for Lululemon Athletica shopping sprees and roundtrip Ultimate Air Shuttle tickets to New York City. The Phoenix is located at 812 Race Street in Downtown, Cincinnati.
