The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. with a meet-and-greet with all players, coaches and staff. At 5 p.m., all AirHogs fans are invited to make their way to the seats as the players and Nicklas Foundation staff face-off in a charity softball game. During the game, fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs, hamburgers and beer on the concourse.
Afterward, everyone is invited to the Fieldhouse Bar and Grill in left field for an after party. During the event, the team will raffle off a personalized championship ring, which is the same ring worn by all players and coaches of the 2011 championship season.
Throughout the day, fans will have the opportunity to pick up their 2012 season tickets and purchase $10 raffle tickets for the championship ring. The final raffle will be conducted during the AirHogs’ home opener, on Monday, May 21, when the players and staff will receive their championship rings. In addition, there will be several giveaways via Twitter on both the AirHogs’ account, @GP_AirHogs, and its mascot’s Ace Bacon, which is @AceBacon. All raffle proceeds will be donated to the Nicklas Foundation.
