Contenders for the coveted Best HMH Hotel award included Coral Beach Resort – Sharjah, Corp Executive Hotel Apartments Al Barsha Dubai, Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments Al Barsha – Dubai and Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments, Al Barsha – Dubai.
Speaking about the significance of the awards, Michel said, “Our awardsprogramme is aimed tomaximize financial return for hotels while helping them gainthe competitive edge.It not only codifies the principles of quality management but provides a comprehensive framework for assessing a hotel’s progress and key objectives. A hotel’s performance is judged based on a range of criteria including financial results, operational standards, guest satisfaction surveys, consistency in marketing, staff training and development, and quality management and service.” A detailed business review and audit is carried out by HMH every quarter across all its properties to evaluate each hotel’s performance.
The beautiful venue reverberated with applause as Corp Executive Hotel Apartments Al Barsha Dubai and Coral Beach Resort – Sharjahwere declared the winners of Best HMH Hotel Award for 2011 having achieved an average occupancy of 98.5 per cent during the year.Mr Emad Azmy, President of Al Shafar General Contracting, the owning company for Corp Executive Hotel Apartments Al Barsha Dubai, said, “We feel proud to have won this prestigious award and are truly grateful to HMH for this honour. Coral Al Khoory Hotel Apartments Al Barsha – Dubai won the ‘Champion of GOP’ (Gross Operating Profit)trophy while Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments Al Barsha – Dubai walked away with the ‘Most Dynamic Hotel’award.
