Candidates to Debate in Race for 49th Congressional District

PRLog (Press Release) - May 2, 2012 - Independent candidate Dick Eiden will debate the other candidates in the race for the 49th congressional district on Thursday, May 3, 2012, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at MiraCosta College in Oceanside, California, in the Little Theater Auditorium, Room 3601, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside, CA 92056

All candidates for congress in the 49th congressional district were invited.

The debate will be  moderated by the League of Women Voters North County, San Diego. The public is invited and encouraged to submit questions at the event.

One important item to note, is that many voters in the 49th congressional district do not realize that district boundaries changed with the redistricting that occured after the most recent census. The 49th congressional district, that is currently represented by Darrell Issa, now stretches from Torrey Pines in the south to Coto de Caza in Orange County.
