Make sure the power bar is working fine and try to use a different socket. If the power bar is OK! Check the power cable. The power cable usually is a black color almost 3 feet and plugged to the computer power supply and power bar. Make sure the power cable is plugged properly. Most of the time the computer doesn’t turn on because of the power cable or power bar, but what about if none of them? Don’t worry you still can go to the next step. Before you go to the next step I’ll give you some information about the computer hardware. The computer case or tower has hardware components such as Motherboard, Hard drive, Memory, Video card and cables. The motherboard is the most sensitive part in the computer. Please note before you touch the motherboard you have to ground your self, if you don’t do that you could damage the motherboard. 30 v statics could damage the motherboard that’s why before you work on the motherboard touch the computer case for at least 10 seconds.
