THE WORD IS OUT THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED is a “true love story between two men” and “wonder

Catalano, the production’s director, stated:  “I’m so pleased that the audience for this production is calling this play a tender love story about two men who fall in love. This wonderful play contains scenes of nudity and passion but it's not only about sex. I wanted to explore the idea that love transcends all prejudices and is wherever you find it. But, it’s also funny as hell!” The four-person ensemble includes Vincent Cusimano, Shannon Mary Dixon, Holly Eisman and Jordan Jones.

Catalano is best known for his successful theatre books Art of the Monologue, The Creative Audience, White Knight Black Night, The Resting Place and Autumn Sweet. His theatre books have been called a “great studies for would be actors or comedians of any type” by Midwest Book Review. His latest book Rand Unwrapped – Confessions of a Robotech Warrior has been called “A humorous and touching account of the Rand character and the making of the landmark animated series Robotech.”
