Lenstory Films Takes Big Leap, Goes Skydiving - New Documentary Film Project: Beyond the Thrill

PRLog (Press Release) - May 1, 2012 - Minneapolis, MN - May 1, 2012 – Lenstory Films, LLC announced the details today of their latest film project – Beyond the Thrill - a documentary film about an elite, five member competition skydiving team! The film will explore who they are, how they started, what compelled them to seek out others with similar skills and determination to not just “take the thrill and run”, but to go Beyond the Thrill – to make the commitment and lifestyle change that has brought them to the level of world-class skydiving competition.

Much More Than Just a Thrill!
Beyond the Thrill will follow and document this team from the Twin Cities – Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, as they train for one of the most highly competitive skydiving events in the country. Check out the trailer here: http://youtu.be/kBxgeD_rKiY

“The team’s goal is to compete in – and win - the 4-Way Team Competition at the National Championships in Eloy, Arizona in October,” said Lenstory Films Producer, Seng Soumpolpakdy. In preparation for this event, the team will compete in four local NPSL (Northern Plains Skydiving League) meets - three in Baldwin WI, and one in Superior, WI. “They will also make two trips to North Carolina to train in a vertical wind tunnel this season,” she said.

Director, Tim Beaufoy said “In addition to a great story, there will be plenty of extreme action footage in this film!” Through creative cinematography and in-depth interviews, mixed with a dose of reality television, Beyond the Thrill will provide first hand experience and insights into what it takes to get where they are today. “Our cinematographers and the team members themselves will be fully equipped to capture all the excitement, action and drama in the air, on the ground – and behind the scenes,” said Beaufoy.

Fund Raising Campaign and Sponsor Search Underway
Last week, Lenstory Films officially launched their major fund raising effort through "Kickstarter" http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1336657642/beyond-the... and "Indiegogo" http://www.indiegogo.com/beyondthethrill to cover primary production, and travel costs associated with the film.
