May 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Boston, MA.  Performance Enhancement Incentives (PEI), a leading full-service incentive travel provider, hosted its latest Executive Educational Summit in Cabo San Lucas this past weekend.  The goal of the summit was to learn about the importance of employee engagement in achieving business goals and to showcase Cabo San Lucas as a convenient and high quality destination for an incentive recognition and reward program.

During the 3-day summit, attendees visited several venues and restaurants and experienced some of the attractions of this beautiful area.  Hotel executives conducted site tours to demonstrate their ability to manage groups of all sizes, arrange meetings, and provide exceptional food and service for their guests.  The food and service demonstrated at several restaurants proved that Cabo and the surrounding area can deliver an exceptional reward experience to visitors.

Bruce Bolger, managing director of The Enterprise Engagement Alliance, was the keynote speaker.  Bolger conducts research and creates measurement tools related to engagement, including the Enterprise Engagement Indicator and Meter for tracking an organization’s ability to improve performance through engagement.  At the summit, Bolger talked about the three-pronged approach to engagement – customer, employee and vendor.  When every aspect of the business is engaged, it maximizes a company’s performance and its value which in turn, impacts the stock value.  This is one of the measurements of engagement.  Bolger also discussed the effective use of incentives and recognition in achieving engagement success.

“Cabo San Lucas is less well known than other popular areas of Mexico such as Cancun or Riviera Maya,” says Colin Higgins, President of PEI, who spoke about the benefits of offering an incentive travel reward that is close to home but which doesn’t sacrifice quality.  “The beaches, the people, the variety of activities, and the service-oriented atmosphere of Cabo San Lucas deliver a memorable experience.”   Higgins said that “Cabo provides some of the best fishing in the world,” and some of the summit attendees got to experience the thrill of the catch when their charter boat brought in a 150lb. blue marlin.  “These are the experiences that program guests will remember for a long time and which will benefit the company offering the incentive,” Higgins concluded.

This is the latest in a continuing series of Executive Educational Summits hosted by PEI.  Business leaders experience how a memorable and meaningful experience can deliver the business results they want.  For information on planning a unique travel experience for your employees or customers, contact Colin Higgins at Performance Enhancement Incentives, 978-287-9500 or colin@peincentives.com.
