Gourmet Trading Company Announces The Start Of Their California Blueberry Season

California blueberry grower, packer, and shipper Gourmet Trading Company, announced that it has started harvest of its blueberry farm.
 
May 1, 2012 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES – April 30, 2012. California blueberry grower, packer, and shipper Gourmet Trading Company, announced that it has started harvest of its blueberry farm. The company expects an abundant California blueberry crop from now through July.
This season the company is introducing new pack sizes for its SuperBluesTM; a differentiated product with a unique upc that has twice the size and crunch of a regular blueberry. To help retailers increase profits, Gourmet Trading Company aims to target different consumers at similar price points with both its fresh blueberry and SuperBluesTM packs.
Gourmet Trading Company Marketing Director, Julia Inestroza stated “We are excited for a strong California blueberry season this year.  In addition to our regular blueberry packs, our Superblues will really help expand, and make more profitable, the already growing category.”
Gourmet Trading Company California blueberries will be available in the following packs: 12x4.4oz, 12x6oz, 8x18oz, 12x1pint, 12x24oz, and 12x32oz. While their Super Sized, Super Crunchy counterpart will be available in 12x4oz, 12x5oz, 12x10z, and 8x16oz packs. Gourmet Trading Company’s California blueberry program is complete and offers retailers the chance to target different customers at the same price.
