Free PACS Archive Upgrades from nuCore Solutions!

Taking the lead on value-added features is nothing new, but nuCore sets the new standard by being the first to offer this expensive upgrade as part of their standard Extended Service Contract. While the first year coverage is typically included in the price of any system, most companies that offer archive upgrades price them at what can only be called by some as “outrageous.”  But with the size of storage increasing and prices dropping, nuCore sees this as an opportunity to gain more market share and provide better service. “Our consideration is for the client,” states Greg Perry, General Manager at nuCore. “So often, the client is taken advantage of when it comes to important system upgrades. We believe that clients that decide to maintain extended service contracts should be protected and supported to the highest possible level and not ‘nickel & dimed’ to death.” With this new program, nuCore sets the customer service and value- added bar higher than any other PACS company, stating that now, more than ever, complete coverage means “complete coverage.”

Perry went on to explain that regardless of the initial archive size, when the system reaches 80-85% capacity, nuCore will provide the upgrade, matching the original archive size. The client pays a small installation fee to a local service provider but pays nothing for the new hardware or software. This will continue for as long as the site maintains an uninterrupted extended service contract, saving them thousands and thousands of dollars over the life of their PACS.  Russell adds “Facility managers and site owners can now concentrate more on improving patient care and let us take care of improving their PACS.”
