This is the 11th annual Labor and Employment Roundtable organized by CHR and the third time Ms. Yeager has been invited to participate. Topics will include a range of hot industry issues, including: neutrality agreements, arbitration, corporate campaigns and RICO, and the employer’s approach to unions.
“The roundtable combines timely practical experiences from company executives and practicing lawyers across the nation with ‘outside the box’ academic thinkers,” says Ms. Yeager. “It will be an invaluable day of brainstorming on how to deal with or effect change on pressing issues affecting employers in the hospitality industry.”
The roundtable provides an interactive and engaging meeting place for a small number of invited senior-level executives, Cornell University faculty members, and research scholars affiliated with CHR. Each session typically begins with a short research presentation, open-ended remarks, or guiding questions offered by the designated moderator. Cornell students and other faculty members often listen in on the discussions and converse with panelists during session breaks.
