TPODMEP Announces New Scholarship Program, For Female Student Achievers
(Cooper City, Florida) ---- A new scholarship program designed to reward and encourage female college student achievers was announced, by tpodmep executive team.
The new scholarship program, launched by The Power of Diversity Mentorship Exchange Program (TPODMEP) will make $50,000 in scholarship money available to female undergraduate students, excelling in academics and community outreach activities, starting in fall 2010. The new scholarship program was announced today, at an executive meeting for TPODMEP.
Scholarship applicants will be evaluated by an appointed committee. Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on proven academic success, community involvement, a required essay submission and a formal applicant interview.
“We are excited about the launch of this new scholarship program,” said Nicole L. Carter, COO of TPODMEP. “This scholarship will create an amazing opportunity for recipients to enhance their education and leadership capabilities.”
