“Life is much sweeter when you are having fun,” said Tessa Kienow, spa director at The Spa at The Inverness. “The Spa recently celebrated its 5th anniversary and we wanted to give guests new reasons to visit or extend their spa visit. Spa Bar Gives Bartending New Meaning
Every person has their own personal preferences. Just like the martini some prefer with gin not vodka; stirred not shaken, and with one olive floater; spa guests have preferences as well. Taking pointers from their at-your-service bartending counterparts, spa bartenders at The Spa at The Inverness will take their specialty blending skills mobile mixing made-to-order retail products in the spa or poolside. To start, the Spar Bar menu will feature three main Salt of the Earth products, including whipped body crème, raw sugar and raw salt and 10 scents such as green tea, aloe, black currant and honey. Spa bar guests can pick one 12oz. main product and then work with the spa bartender to mix and match scents to custom-blend their personal fragrance. The spa bartender will then mix the main product and scent to create a unique spa product. The final product will be packaged into a souvenir ice cube for guests to take home.
The Spa Bar will operate daily and all three products retail for $28. Starting in June, guests can reserve the Spa Bar for poolside birthday parties, girlfriends’

Indulgence for the Soul & Stomach
The Spa at The Inverness now features a seasonal food and beverage menu that gives guests more reason to prolong their stay beyond their treatment and enjoy the hotel’s AAA Four Diamond amenities on a satisfied stomach. Executive Chef Rodney Herwerth designed the seasonal menu, which includes four light appetizers, three sandwich entrées and two desserts. Guests can pre-order their meal and enjoy assorted farmhouse cheeses and house cured meats or baked brie almandine with friends or the smoked turkey roulades or blue crab stuffed avocados. As with anything, there’s always room for added pampering with The Spa’s dessert options which include fresh berry skewer chocolate fondue and chef’s selection of petite fours.
Since good food always tastes better with refreshing beverages, The Spa menu also features four all natural antioxidant creations, four spa cocktails and a selection of white and red wines. With names like peach sparkler, smooth vanilla PURE-tini, dragonberry mojito and rio royale, these spa-inspired concoctions not only quench the thirst but give guests tasty reasons to stay even longer. All spa menu items can be served in the spa or poolside. Food items must be ordered at check-in to ensure timely delivery.
