Mr. Johnston joins PowerDirect as a National Account Executive from the Seattle Times, where he was part of the National/Majors advertising department and responsible for an annual eight figure revenue goal. His achievements at the Seattle Times included numerous awards, among them the Kohl’s Award for Newspaper Excellence and first place at the Retail Advertising Conference’s Racie Awards for a retail campaign concept that was presented and sold to the Eastside Harley Davidson company. Mr. Johnston is a native of the Pacific Northwest and also involved with local nonprofits. Under Mr. Johnston’s leadership, the Bellevue office will focus on driving relationships with national accounts as well as local Washington-based businesses.
