BOARD will deliver driver-based budgeting on all lines of the P&L, with the related balance sheet and cash flow impact. The budgeting cycle will be supported and controlled by a workflow and audit. BOARD will also provide full analysis of actual, budget and forecast data in seconds rather than days or weeks. KPIs and dashboards will provide the management team with early warning indicators. The team will also be able to drill down on the fly into the numbers to understand cause.
Paul Roberts, Finance Director, BDO LLP commented: “BDO currently provides management information to the business from a number of different, non-integrated data sources. The attraction of the BOARD solution is that all our planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting needs are managed within one database in a completely flexible, real-time environment. The benefits to the business particularly in terms of resource planning, performance measurement and working capital efficiency will be significant.”
Dominic Policella, Managing Director of BOARD UK says: “I am delighted that BDO has chosen BOARD as their corporate solution especially considering the detailed evaluation of various other budgeting solutions of the market.
