April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- The independent Book publisher that opened their doors one year ago today originally set out to specialize in horror and has grown into accepting all genres of fiction and is on the verge of launching a few children’s titles under the Hellfire Publishing name. Although electronic format is still the first format to be published, they have since moved into putting out print books faster and in more cases than ever before, with some print books being put out as early as three weeks after, their Kindle debut.

To date their website has had over 800, 000 hits with their blog gratefully receiving over 23,000 visitors.

With many brilliant authors calling Hellfire their permanent ‘home’, the company is no longer accepting unsolicited submissions. An author’s work will only be seen by recommendation of a Hellfire author or staff member and of course most agented submissions will be considered. Although it is very hard to get a submission in, previous credits are of no concern to the submissions department. Their goal is to look for strong riveting stories.

Try not to miss Hellfire Publishing’s very first book signing at their sister store Hellfire Comics on June 9, 2012, in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Where you can meet some of their hottest and brightest stars and can get their autograph. The winner of the following contest will be drawn on that day...

A huge customer appreciation basket is being put together that will find itself in the hands of one lucky fan. As of now the contents of the gift basket are a mystery, but will include novel and comic book lover related items!  A few signed print copies by Hellfire Publishing’s very talented authors, could find their way in as well.

You can score an entry by doing any of the following and will receive an entry credit for each one...

To simplify their many achievements and milestones over the past year, Hellfire Publishing is listing only some of their accomplishments...

In their first year some of their authors have landed in Amazons Top 10 Bestseller list and nominated for such awards as best author of the year. Hellfire Publishing is home to many authors including Edward McKeown, Robin Renee Ray, Daniel P. Coughlin and Savannah Rayne.

Edward McKeown has had many short story titles released through Hellfire Publishing, but has overtaken their sci-fi department with his record breaking sales for his breakout hit Was Once A Hero.

Award winning author Robin Renee Ray has mastered screenwriting and her upcoming book Zombies, Sex and Chocolate Cheesecake is being considered for film. She is most famous for the Bloodbreeders series.

Daniel P. Coughlin is an American film and fiction writer with two featured films to his credit. Lake Dead, was selected by Lionsgate for their 2007 After Dark Horror Fest - 8 Films to Die For, and Farmhouse (film). Daniel has also reached the Amazons Bestseller list for his well-told, chilling tale...The Last Customer.

Savannah Rayne has not been a writer very long, but has turned into an overnight sensation and continues to hold her own in sales and reviews for her horror short stories Oh, Deer and When It Leaves.

Sleeping Love, by Sara Curran Ross ranked #2 on the romance bestseller list in the romance store on Amazon and #4 on the Kindle Bestseller list.

Currently, the company releases, on average, 12 to 20 eBooks per year and their percentage of print titles grows every day. The company’s growth in just one year is attributed to hard working staff and knowledgeable board of directors.

Only one candle will be blown out this year by the Hellfire Publishing family, but there is a well implemented plan in place, ensuring many more candles in the years to come and a very bright future.

Mission statement

Hellfire Publishing. It’s all about the reader. Do you want the VIP treatment? At Hellfire Publishing we believe the reader deserves the full court press and mint on their pillow. We hand select the writer and their story…for you. Our writers have been happy and proud to make Hellfire Publishing their home. We are a family and welcome the occasional deserving fresh voice, striving to make them feel welcome by keeping with the writers voice as much as we can and still deliver to you a perfect piece of work. Hellfire Publishing warmly greets our readers as a guest, but hope you will want to extend your stay.

Not only did they help, but continue to hang in through thick and thin, the following list is the brick and mortar on which this company will continue to build. There is a certain chill that comes over a reader when they read a new author and that author moves up the sales ladder. They can say...“Hey I read them, when...”

In no particular order, Hellfire Publishing would like to thank...

Eugene Binkley
Sharon Miles
Julanne Batterton
Jeanette Ratajcyk
Dave Thill
Christine Thill
Carol Marrs Phipps
Robin Renee Ray
Edward McKeown
Sara Curran Ross
Jessica Rose Sims
All of our very, very talented authors.

Without their contributions, Hellfire Publishing would be only a pipe dream cluttered in the mind of Dawn Binkley, along with half naked Fireman.

To the fans, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
