“Designing Spaces” on Lifetime TV Welcomes Kids in Distress to
“A Labor of Love” Special Makeover Project

(Pompano Beach, FL – April 30, 2012)  Popular home improvement show “Designing Spaces” on Lifetime Television welcomes to the series KIDS in Distress Inc., an agency that provides emergency shelter services for neglected and abused children.  KIDS will be featured on the show as part of a Special edition called “Designing Kids Spaces of Hope…A Labor of Love” makeover series.  

The “Designing Spaces” special series will take place at the KIDS in Distress campus location in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., where the “Designing Spaces Dream Team” will help transform the look of a bedroom, teen room and common areas for fun, play, literacy and learning for the children.

Viewers will be able to follow the cameras through the 2 episode makeover process as the KIDS in Distress spaces become more homey and comfortable for the children they serve to help.

“Designing Spaces” Lifetime viewers will also meet those who have lent a helping hand to donate to the cause.
