Jim Bridges Named Director of Sales, OregonLive.com

Portland, OR — Jim Bridges has been named Director of Sales for OregonLive.com.  Bridges previously held the position of Director of Real Estate for Advance Digital Inc.
The appointment, which is effective April 2012, was announced by John Jackson, General Manager, OregonLive.com.
Jim is a proven professional with over 17 years experience of managing and leading media professionals.  The advertising community in Portland will benefit from Jim’s cutting edge digital advertising background.  We could have searched the entire country with a fine tooth comb and would not have found a better Director of Sales for businesses in Oregon and Washington.  
Bio:
-   Last 8 years served as Director of Real Estate, and Business Lead for Mobile and Video for Advance Digital, Inc. Prior to assuming this position, Jim was Director of Sales for OregonLive.com from 2001-2004.
-   1996-2000: Jim worked for Lee Enterprises (headquartered in Davenport, Iowa) as Director of Organizational Development, and was the General Manager for the Billings Gazette and then the Publisher of the Bismarck Tribune.
-   1982-1996: Jim was in the education industry, starting as a teacher and football coach (including coaching at Texas A&I University) before moving into secondary school administration as an assistant principal. In 1994, Jim became Director of Human Resources for the David Douglas School District.
