Special Invites sent to 425 Chicago Public Schools for a night of fun & entertainment

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 29, 2012 - The Krusader Community Awards acknowledges the contributions of individuals & entities that affect Chicagoland communities, and public schools are a definite influence on the communities they serve. Because of this, all CPS principals have been invited to attend FREE, and teachers & staff receiving discounted tickets,  courtesy of Krusader.

The schools were informed of their invites via fax, with all 425 Chicago neighborhood public schools offered the opportunity to reply by fax or email to confirm their attendance.

The 2012 Krusader Community Awards are also honoring  Rev. Corey Brooks, Dwayne Wade (of the Miami Heat) and Mayor Rahm Emmanuel and others for their contributions to making Chicago safer, and mentoring inner-city children.

The awards presentation also includes performances from comedians, spoken word artists, R&B, Rock, and Neo-Soul singers; as well as a children's reading section (courtesy of KidKru children's books) and a culinary exhibition (courtesy of Convict Cooking Magazine).

Tickets to this event are $35 for adults, $17 for children, and are available on EventBrite.
