Grossman Cobra Floor Lamp by Gubi

April 28, 2012 - PRLog -- This is a lamp that stares back. Its beauty bites, thus the Gubi Grossman Cobra. It features a tabular flexible arm can be bent in all directions which the shade can be rotated through 360º. The base is covered in powder-coated aluminum and weighted with a cast iron ballast.  This lamp is available in both tabletop and floor lamp version.
The classic Cobra lamp takes its name from the shape of the oval shade, which is reminiscent of a Cobra's neck or hood.

Gubi Olsen spotted the lamp in 1989 and five years later got the production and sales rights worldwide. The Bestlite lamp is highly influenced by the Bauhaus period and has been in continuous production since 1930.
