April 28, 2012 - PRLog -- SOCAP Great Lakes has announced the opening of registration for its 19th Annual Golf Outing and Early Birdie event, held at the Tanglewood Golf Club in South Lyon on June 7, 2012.

The event is open to members and non-members alike and provides an opportunity for members of local industry to network with specialists across a variety of platforms, learn about customer service opportunities and methods, and play 18 holes of golf.

The Early Birdie event, which begins at 8 a.m. and includes breakfast, offers a panel of experts in the field of industry and customer relationships discussing emerging technologies in customer experience management. The presentation and Q&A session features officials from Unilever and Kellogg’s who will share key methods they are using to adapt to the next generation of customer care, such as mobile apps and more. “This event is an excellent opportunity to learn about opportunities available in this dynamic, growing field,” says Jason Wolcott, president of SOCAP Great Lakes.

Following the Early Birdie presentation, teams of four will take to the golf course for a scramble on 18 holes at the Tanglewood Golf Club. Dinner and awards will take place at 5 p.m.

“You do not need to be a pro for the golf outing that has been a favorite of Midwest SOCAP members for nearly two decades,” says Wolcott. “The outing, both social and competitive, provides an excellent opportunity to network with peers in the customer care industry.”

The events take place on Thursday June 7, 2012 at Tanglewood Golf Course located at 53503 W. 10 Mile Road in South Lyon. The Early Birdie event begins at 8 a.m. followed by golf at 11:30 a.m. and dinner/awards at 5 p.m. Cost for the Early Birdie event only is $20; golf plus the Early Birdie event and dinner is $100; a foursome is $390.
