April 27, 2012 - PRLog -- THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF.--Tropical Daze, a weekend-long summer music festival set for Saturday and Sunday, July 21 and 22 in Thousand Oaks, is seeking volunteers. The two-day festival, now in its fourth year, is held at the Thousand Oaks Community Park (2525 Moorpark Rd., next to Thousand High School). All proceeds from the festival benefit Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning (CV NfL, http://www.cvnfl.org).

"Tropical Daze is CV NfL's biggest fundraiser of the year," says Randy Strong, event organizer. "CV NfL helps children ages zero to five reach their highest potential through quality education and programs that encourage family involvement."

Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas: event set up, ticket takers, at food booths, helping younger kids participate in "bounce house" inflatables, helping in the CV NfL activity booths and luau set up. Volunteers work in two-hour shifts. The minimum age is 14.

Last year, more than 8,000 festival goers attended Tropical Daze. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., both days. To learn more about volunteering, contact Strong at info@tropicaldaze.org, 805-499-6312.
