This last presentation will be held at Temple Sinai, 18801 Northeast 22nd Avenue, North Miami Beach. Iris Krasnow will discuss her most recent book, The Secret Lives of Wives - Women ShareWhat it Really Takes to Stay Married and her previous best seller, I Am My Mother’s Daughter. For her new book, Iris interviewed more than 200 wives whose marriages have survived 15-70 years to discover the secret to staying married. “These women are from a diverse cast, yet they share one significant trait: they all offer bold, sometimes secretive, strategies on how to go the distance “til death do us part,” Krasnow states.
According to the Series Coordinator, David Surowitz, “Presenting this series broadens the scope of literary programming offered in our community and also serves as a catalyst for encouraging the reading, writing, and publishing of books of Jewish interest.” Serving on this Jewish Book Series Committee are Beth Albert, Diani Azout, Dr. Abraham and Shulamit Gittelson, Sara Kerpel, and Myriam Wolf. The Series is made possible through the Steven J. Kravitz Adult Jewish Education Fund. For further information about the Series, call David Surowitz, at 305-932-4200, ext. 127.
