Victoria Blackie Native American Songbird Pays Tribute To Veterans and The Greats of Country Music

Victoria is performing in Albuquerque, New Mexico Veterans Hospital. This year she is the invited guest performer and speaker to the full house event. Back by Popular Demand she joins forces on Stage 49 with the hot Ninety One Band of New Mexico.
 
April 26, 2012 - PRLog -- This year she is the invited quest performer and speaker at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque.  The Veterans hold a special place in her life.  Her grandfather the Late Arkie Dennison of Tohatchi, New Mexico served in the Navy During WWII and passed away when she was born.  That performance is on April 26, 2012.

The Gathering, which starts tomorrow and lasts until Saturday, has been celebrating American Indian culture since 1983, bringing more than 500 tribes from all across the country and Canada and approximately 100,000 visitors to Albuquerque.

Indian Country puts Victoria Blackie On The Spotlight

"We’d like to shine a spotlight on Victoria Blackie, Navajo, a country music impresario who packs a ton of punch into her petite 5’1″ frame.  Victoria has been a nominee in eight categories at the Native American Music Awards (NAMMYS), and has received two awards in Best Country and Best Blues categories at the Indian Summer Festival in Milwaukee.".

Schedule

This Saturday at 4:00 PM she will rock on Stage 49.  She joins forces with the popular and highly visible and hot country group  Ninety One Band of New Mexico.

She will be singing songs from her previous album "Wanted Man" that is a top seller on iTunes and the digital world. She recently signed a recording contract with Tate Music Group and has recorded her next soon to be released album, that pays tribute to some of country music country legends.  Victoria Blackie Entertainment Productions and Tate Music Group are  working on scheduling her next tour promoting her new album "Tribute" to the greats.   She hopes that by having a label behind her it will take her career to the next level.  She has received radio play and  has been interviewing on radio stations across the country from the east coast to the west.

Victoria has always been noticed as a powerful entertainer and petite girl with the powerful voice.  She has trained vocally in both classical and contemporary techniques. A description of Victoria she is charismatic, believe it or not somewhat shy , slim, photogenic, mountain climber, works out and is Native American from the Navajo Tribe.

Victoria started her career on a shoestring budget and still continues to promote herself, with the help of family and friends and now The Tate Music Group. Victoria is ready for the big time, with a little help from her thousands of fans on facebook and twitter.
